You will seldom see me shooting art nude because in my eyes it’s just not challenging. It’s always easy to undress a woman and yet it’s much harder to find the right outfits and clothes for her. I think there are so many nude photoshoots in the UK because people are lazy to think about creating something more. Finding designers? Coming up with a concept? Why bother when you can just shoot a naked woman against the air b-n-b walls (in the best-case scenario) and show off in front of your friends how women get undressed for you. But with all the amount of naked pictures in the photographers’ community I honestly don’t remember the last time I saw some really good art nude ones.
I’ve worked with Maria so many times. We have done so many amazing projects together that it was only natural that one day we would do some nude shots as well. I wanted to go for some raw look in the woods, like a forest nymph. We decided to have this photoshoot on the same day I had the amphibia photoshoot. After Maria helped me there as a make-up artist I took several pictures of her. It took us only 15 minutes but I’m very happy with the outcome.
