When I lived in Moscow my favourite place to shoot was the Botanic garden. It is huge and its territory allows you to hide from unnecessary spectators which is perfect! In Edinburgh we live close the Royal Botanic Garden. It’s not that big as in Moscow (or London) but I fell in love with it at first sight. I like to come here with a book and coffee and just enjoy life. Somehow looking at flowers and plants has always made me feel inspired.
This summer I’ve had very few portrait shoots. I was mostly travelling in Scotland and I took lots of landscapes but my fairytales and portraits were abandoned. This shoot with Doris was almost my only summer portrait shoot. But I love it! Working with Doris was easy and fun. I loved her personality, the flowers, the sun.
